{"id":3802,"date":"2024-09-16T12:01:59","date_gmt":"2024-09-16T09:01:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dossier.org.ua\/news\/carpathian-day-2024\/"},"modified":"2024-09-17T11:35:48","modified_gmt":"2024-09-17T08:35:48","slug":"carpathian-day-2024","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.dossier.org.ua\/en\/news\/carpathian-day-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"September 26 \u2013 Carpathian Day: \u201cOur identity lies in our heritage\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This year, September 26 will be the first time to celebrate the Carpathian Day. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In October last year the 7<sup>th<\/sup> Conference of the Parties to the Carpathian Convention welcomed \u201cthe idea of establishing the Carpathian Day to further promote the protection and\u00a0sustainable development of the Carpathians and the Carpathian Convention activities at\u00a0various levels,\u201d and invites the Parties, relevant stakeholders and the Secretariat to contribute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Carpathian Education for Sustainable Development Expert Network is&nbsp;the main entity coordinating the organization and promotion of Carpathian Day (Green Dossier is a member of this network) with support from the Carpathian Convention Secretariat, the Carpathian Network of Protected Areas (CNPA) and the Science for the Carpathians Network (S4C).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is possible to join this \u201cyearly celebration of our diverse and common identities, landscapes, heritage and love for the Carpathian region\u201d. On a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carpathianconvention.org\/topics\/awareness-raising-education-and-public-participation\/carpathian-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">special page<\/a>, you can announce your own event, share information, and learn more about the new holiday.
