Initiative<\/a><\/strong>, which includes key players of the organic sector of Ukraine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"#purpose_en\">The purpose of the Grant Program <\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#apply_en\">Apply for support<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#donate_en\">Donate to the Program<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#report_en\">Report and publicity<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-css-opacity has-vivid-green-cyan-background-color has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Undoubtedly, agriculture remains one of the important sectors of the economy as Ukraine has been an important global supplier of agricultural and food products for many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Direct losses as a result of occupation and direct hits, sea ports blockade, destruction of infrastructure facilities and supply chains, significant increase in the prices of fertilizers, fuel and logistics \u2013 this is not an exhaustive list of problems that agricultural producers have faced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite all the difficulties, Ukrainian organic farmers have already started their second sowing campaign in the conditions of a full-scale war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>It is important that organic production remains one of the priorities of agricultural production in Ukraine both for producers and the government.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/organicinfo.ua\/en\/news\/organic-appeal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Statement on the href=\"https:\/\/organicinfo.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Ukrainian-Organic-Sector-Analysis_Oct2022_EN.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ukrainian Organic Sector Analysis (for 8 months since 24.02.2022 as of October 2022)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/organicinitiative.org.ua\/en\/news\/organic-agriculture-more-resilience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Press release&nbsp;of Organic Initiative on the situation in the Ukrainian organic sector after 1 year of the russia\u2019s full-fledged invasion&nbsp;(based on the survey of organic business, January-February 2022)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/organicinitiative.org.ua\/en\/news\/results-of-the-survey-of-the-ukrainian-organic-business-february-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">results of the survey in infographics<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"purpose_en\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The purpose of the Grant Program <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">is to support the organic producers to overcome the current situation and preserve and strengthen the capacity of the organic sector of Ukraine in the mid- and long-term. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>The eligible applicants are organic market operators, service providers, public organisations and unions working in the field of organic production, circulation and labelling of organic products &#8211; legal entities residents in Ukraine.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"apply_en\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Apply for support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><u>Phase 1<\/u> of the Grant Program implemented from April to August 2022. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The list of the companies supported in the frame of Phase 1 of the Grant Program <a href=\"https:\/\/organicinfo.ua\/en\/news\/organic-support-1phase\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">available by link<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><u>Phase 2<\/u> of the Grant Program implementing since August 2022<\/strong> and some of the supported initiatives are implementing till September 2023.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Results of the 2d phase already <a href=\"https:\/\/organicinfo.ua\/en\/news\/grant-program-2phase-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">available by link<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Phase 3 <\/span>of the Grant Program implementing in May-June 2023.<\/strong><br><strong>The results of the phase 3 of the Grant Program are <a href=\"https:\/\/organicinitiative.org.ua\/en\/news\/3d-phase-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">available by link <\/a>&#8211; 24 organic operators will receive support in the total amount of CHF 90,000.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the frame of the Grant Program \u201cSupport of the organic sector in Ukraine\u201d&nbsp;<strong>over 120 organic operators were supported&nbsp;<\/strong>for a total amount equivalent to&nbsp;<strong>USD 440,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"donate_en\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Donate to the Program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The monetary fund of the Grant Program<\/strong> is formed from charitable donations and contributions of individuals and legal entities (residents and non-residents of Ukraine), targeted contributions of international projects \/ technical assistance programs and other revenues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"report_en\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Report and publicity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Program supported by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Switzerland within the framework of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.organictrade4development.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Organic Trade 4 Development in Eastern Europe (OT4D) Program<\/a> implemented by&nbsp;IFOAM &#8211; Organics International in partnership with HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation and Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL) and the Swiss-Ukrainian Program <a href=\"http:\/\/www.qftp.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cHigher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine\u201d<\/a> implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland) &#8211; <strong><strong>230,000 CHF<\/strong><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dossier.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Swiss-logos-1024x256.jpg\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:535px;height:133px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunrisefoods.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sunrise Foods International (Canada)<\/a> &#8211; <strong><strong>139,970 <strong>USA Dollars<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dossier.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Sunrise-Foods-International.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:210px;height:52px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"font-size:15px\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.donausoja.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.donausoja.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Donau Soja Association<\/a> &#8211; <strong><strong>22,500 EUR<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\"
