{"id":3939,"date":"2024-10-03T11:12:45","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T08:12:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dossier.org.ua\/projects\/organic-grant-program\/"},"modified":"2025-07-22T13:54:54","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T10:54:54","slug":"organic-grant-program","status":"publish","type":"projects","link":"https:\/\/www.dossier.org.ua\/en\/projects\/organic-grant-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Grant Program in Organic Sector"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022, Ukraine&#8217;s organic sector, like the entire agricultural and food industries, has been affected and continues to suffer from Russian aggression. The Ukrainian domestic market of organic products decreased significantly in 2022 and began to recover in 2023 but is still lower than before the full-scale invasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under these circumstances, Ukrainian organic producers need support to continue organic farming and provide healthy organic food to the people of Ukraine and other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the Grant Program, support will be provided to initiatives that will contribute to increasing sales of organic products, enlarging organic assortment on store shelves, in particular, due to the increase in the storage period of organic products and establishing new supply chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Areas of support and forms of activity under the Grant Program:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>promoting the sales of organic products and opening up new sales channels for organic products on the domestic market;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>shortening the supply chains from producer to consumer on the domestic market;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improving the presentation of organic products on the shelves on the domestic market, in particular, due to the increase in the storage period of organic products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ukrainian certified organic operators, which are present on the domestic market or are ready to enter the Ukrainian market, are allowed to participate in the competition for receiving a grant under this Grant Program.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the Grant Program in Organic Sector it is possible to support the purchase of equipment but it should not exceed 60% of the total grant amount. The full list of non-eligible costs listed in the Guidelines on the Grant Program in Organic Sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>All the official information about the Grant Program, guidelines, application forms and public information <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dossier.org.ua\/en\/projects\/organic-grant-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">are published on the website<\/a>.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-fe48e5de wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-width wp-block-button__width-100 has-custom-font-size is-style-outline is-style-outline--1\" style=\"font-size:16px;text-transform:uppercase\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-black-color has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-text-color has-background has-link-color has-text-align-center wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dossier.org.ua\/news\/organic-grants-2024-results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>The winners of the grant program in organic sector <\/strong><br><strong>supported by Switzerland have been announced<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A total of 40 applications were received, 33 of which will be supported under the program for a total amount of approximately 160 thousand Swiss francs.
