The EU-Ukraine Civil Society Platform (CSP) is one of the bodies set up under the Association Agreement between the European Union (EU) and Ukraine. The CSP enables civil society organisations on both sides to monitor the implementation process from the point of view of civil society, and to prepare recommendations to the relevant authorities.
On December 10th, 2024 the 16th meeting of the EU-Ukraine civil society platform held Brussels where discussed:
- the ongoing negotiation process on Ukraine’s accession to the European Union;
- the reconstruction of Ukraine through Ukraine Facility instruments under pillars II and III;
- the current challenges and prospects for the Ukrainian agricultural sector in the context of EU enlargement.
The CSP members highlighted some progress in the above-mentioned areas, despite the large-scale killing and destruction caused by the ongoing unjustified war of aggression against Ukraine.
